Our client is a fast growing energy company based in the Gulf, targeting opportunities across the MENASA region. The company has already built up a substantial portfolio of assets, across the energy value chain. Well funded and with a substantial pipeline of investment opportunities across the region, they now seek a Lead Negotiator to secure these deals.
Working within the Business Development team, the Lead Negotiator will direct negotiations with competitors, government organisations, energy sector stakeholders and partners, regarding the securing and maintenance of assets and investments. With regular travel, this role offers considerable variety and flexibility in a fast paced environment. Candidates will have a good technical grounding within oil & gas and now a track record of deal making and very importantly, deal closure. They should possess a detailed knowledge of the legal and contractual aspects of forming, executing and closing upstream and midstream deals, as well as the necessary stature to negotiate at senior levels, both internally and externally. Appropriate regional experience is a real preference and Arabic language skills are desirable.
